I have had this plant for over a year now. It was started from the root in a bag thing. It produced fruit last year, but I never ate any of the strawberries. I didn't want to eat the plant's babies. This year I decided that because it has had so much fruit, I should at least see how they taste. They are tiny, but wonderful.

ReplyDeleteJess - you may want to ask grandma, but if you don't harvest the strawberries I think they don't produce as much the following year. I may be wrong, but we all know she's the expert. I do know that if you harvest, you can get two crops each year potentially.

ReplyDeleteThere is strawberry picking at Trax...all their strawberries are small too. I have found the small ones are the better tasting ones.
